Through a variety of instructor-led presentations and demonstrations accompanied by hands-on lab exercises, this two-hour workshop is a follow-up to the basic session and will focus on advanced configuration options for enterprise installations.  Network cameras and other edge devices ship with a variety of features that most installers either ignore or simply don’t know they exist.  This hands-on lab session will introduce participants to these commonly disregarded features and how they can increase customer satisfaction and, in some cases, decrease installation time and costs. By understanding these advanced techniques, participants will stand out from their competitors who simply install cameras using default or basic settings.

Learning Outcomes:
1. Apply advanced image optimization techniques to increase image usability for your customers.
2. Identify the cyber security challenges network surveillance introduces and how to mitigate those risks through configuration.
3. Demonstrate proficiency with integrating external trigger devices using I/O capabilities of the video devices.
4. Demonstrate proficiency with advanced image compression settings to decrease bandwidth without sacrificing image usability.
