A drone is just another sensor and the reason we use one is the get the data it produces. With all the effort put into getting a drone "off the ground," we often neglect how we will use the data it collects. This session will address the critical elements of integrating a data exploitation strategy into the operation of drones, ROVs and wearables. Through case studies and discussion, the session will explore the value of real-time data and how it can be enhanced by applied analytics, the challenges of competing for bandwidth, and the importance of integrating data into legacy systems.

Learning Outcomes:
1. Develop a strategy to integrate drone data into tactical decision- making.
2. Anticipate problem areas and seek networking and technology tools that will maximize the value of their drone and ROV programs.
