IoT is a new frontier presenting a complex and distinct set of cyber security challenges yet to be encountered in the IT space. Enterprises and IoT service providers lack visibility and control over their edge devices, making it hard to secure even known and managed devices. The inherent vulnerability of these connected devices makes them an easy entry point for attackers trying to reach mission critical assets. To eliminate this blind spot and to safely extend deployments, enterprises, and IoT service, providers need cybersecurity capabilities that can be deployed quickly and seamlessly to the edge. This type of edge security enables early detection and effective mitigation of cyber attacks on billions of IoT devices. During this presentation, SecuriThings’ Director of Sales & Business Development, Jonathan Shtofman, will present use cases where the technological capability to be on the edge allowed the company to detect and mitigate cyber threats in real- time.

Learning Outcomes:
1. Understand that to secure connected products, you need to have full visibility and control from within the edge.
2. Discover how existing security solutions are not sufficient in monitoring IoT devices which can be scattered across unsecured networks and often times deployed outdoor.
